Our curiosity, the desire to understand, is inseparable from what it means to be human. But, even in the 21st century we have only just scratched the surface of understanding psychedelic medicines. For millennia, psychedelics have played an important role in society with documented use in ancient cultures like the Aztecs, Mayans, and Greeks. But, only now are we finally beginning to understand the power of these medicines as a result of modern science and technology.
Who We Are
Mindleap Health was founded by purpose-driven leaders on a mission to enhance the wellbeing of millions of people that struggle with mental health problems. While the commonplace mental health treatments of today are well-intended, they often fail to provide the outcomes patients are seeking and deserve. We believe that psychedelic medicine offers an innovative approach to mental health that affects people in meaningful and sustained ways.
What does the name mean?
Our name was inspired by our mission: to empower people to take a leap towards improving the health of their mind.
Our technology
We aim to simplify and modernize therapy through our software application, which connects patients to specialists who can help them work through their most pressing problems. We also leverage the latest technology tools to provide people advanced analytics surrounding their mental health. This gives individuals a greater understanding of their mood, emotions and habits, and can also make sessions with specialists more effective.
By combining traditional telemedicine, psychedelic medicine and advanced mood and behaviour tracking and analytics, the Mindleap application offers a powerful set of tools for managing mental healthcare. Our Research
Last year the Pharmaceutical industry spent $179 billion in R&D. Yet, despite a number of ground-breaking research papers being published in the past decade, a philanthropic grant of only $17M for psychedelic research made headlines in September.
Preliminary research into microdosing psilocybin is highly promising and there is an opportunity to develop various novel nutraceuticals and medications. Our world-class science team is developing novel, patentable combinations of compounds to help patients get the mental healthcare that the pharma industry fails to effectively deliver. Our company’s flagship psilocybin-based nutraceutical formulations are aimed at enhancing cognitive ability, mood and focus. Our science team is currently working towards launching a pilot study later this year to demonstrate their effectiveness.
